Barefoot romance on your own private island
Have you ever dreamed about escaping to your own private tropical island- just the two of you? Where every day is a tropical island honeymoon and the staff only visits when called?
So did we.
Welcome to A Deeper Love
When artists Nansi and David Gallup were looking for the perfect honeymoon location they sought a luxurious tropical island- designed just for two- with healthy coral reefs, friendly locals in a vibrant community, and an island to themselves with friendly staff nearby. Unable to find it in all the world, they decided to build it. They searched the world for the perfect location, and ended up in Turtle Bay, just a kayak paddle off the shore of Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. Today, Deeper Love Resort on Molono Island is their second home and art studio.
When they are at their home in California or traveling abroad, this magnificent retreat is being made available to a select few who have the romantic, adventuresome spirit to appreciate just what makes Molono Island so special.
When you awaken at Deeper Love Resort, walk straight from your bed to a secluded beach where you can bathe in the warm Coral Sea waters surrounded by tropical fish, or for a bit more adventure, enjoy a snorkel off "Snorkeler's Cove" on the North side of the island on one of the most pristine coral reefs in the world.
When you turn out the lights at night, you experience true nature. If the moon is full, consider a romantic swim or kayak in the warm lagoon before bed. On a moonless night, the stars are almost overwhelming. The only sounds you hear are the gentle waves and the occasional gecko bark.
Whatever you decide, the staff only come when invited by you on the radio so you know you have total seclusion without sacrificing service. Make your own breakfast or have it delivered by boat- it's totally up to you. Chef, Concierge, Housekeeping, and Activities Manager are available at all times to assist with any request.
Find your pace, find romance, find yourselves. A Deeper Love Awaits.
Island life is early to bed, early to rise, in order to take advantage of cool calm mornings for swimming and kayaking before the sun is strong. But stay up an hour past sunset just to make sure you get a look at the Vanuatu skies at night. While East Santo is becoming a popular location for restaurants and resorts, floating on the lagoon at night or looking up from the hammock at Deeper Love you will still see night skies truly free of light pollution. If you turn off the landscape lights on Molono, that is. Because at this resort, you are in control of everything, even landscape lighting. Forgot where the light switch is? Don't worry. Our friendly, devoted staff can remind you on the radio or even pop over on a kayak and turn out the lights for you. They can even bring you a bedtime snack or a cocktail to enjoy under the stars before you turn in. Point your iPhone at the sky and get a photo of your own just like the one above.
